Loblaw’s Distribution Centre
Located within Surrey’s Campbell Heights Business Park, this new 410,000 sf Perishable Distribution Centre was designed to achieve local development design guidelines, with special attention to its fit within the character of its neighbourhood. The innovative street façade and selection of exterior finishing materials project a high quality identity to the public. The variation and distribution of façade elements and building massing differentiate the major functional parts of the building while reducing the overall scale of the facility. This multi-temperature cross dock distribution facility has been designed to LEED Silver standards.
Vancouver Mail Processing Plant Canada Post – Richmond
With a building footprint of over four hectares, the centre is comprised of 48,000 square metres of mail processing plant and 15,000 square metres of two-storey office space. The 17 hectare site features paved truck circulation, docking space to serve 99 shipping and receiving bays, secured heavy vehicle parking area and parking space for over 750 vehicles.
The most challenging aspect of the project was meeting the demanding schedule. In order to achieve Canada Post’s commitments to their equipment vendors, various areas of the processing plant had to be handed over at earlier dates to allow equipment and conveyor installation to commence.
Aldergrove Credit Union Community Centre
The Aldergrove Credit Union Community Centre was designed and built to offer various recreational services to a diverse and growing community, including outdoor spaces featuring a cheerful waterpark with a wave pool, lazy river, waterslides, aqua spray pad, covered 6-lane lap pool, leisure pool and hot tub, and indoor spaces including an NHL-sized arena, indoor running track, fitness centre and other community program space.
The 700,000 sq. ft, building incorporates various sustainable features in the design and operation including recycled timber and rainwater harvesting. The pools are heated by a BTU boiler plant, solar panels, and excess energy produced by cooling the arena’s ice rink.

This design build exterior facades of the building are comprised of various different finishes including metal cladding, and EIFS canopies of different materials. Due to the time constraint of the project our team worked seven days a week to complete the work in time for the tenants to move in on the required date.
Sysco Foods
This design build distribution facility is located in Langford, BC. The facility includes 36,000 square foot office space including mezzanine, A 31,000 square foot freezer, a 36,500 square foot dry warehouse, and 53,500 square feet of production space with loading docks. A commercial grade demonstration kitchen was also installed. The exterior of the building is constructed using structural steel, insulated metal panels, and concrete tilt-up panels while the roof is an Environmentally-friendly white reflecting TPO membrane.
Chilliwack Cultural Centre
New Community Cultural Facility, including Art Gallery, Theatres, Dance/Art/Music Studio’s, Leed Certified. The mechanical equipment on the structure’s roof is situated to minimize visibility from the street, and also avoid potential acoustical problems. The interior acoustics in the main theatre are enhanced for concerts, choir recitals, and drama performances with high-level curved acoustic panels and operable absorptive banners and drapes
Sandel Foods
The 70,000 square foot Food Production Facility was completed as a design build. This building includes a 3,000 square foot Freezer, a 4,600 square foot cooler as well as a 17,000 square foot warehouse.
New Recreation Complex, includes NHL size ice area, International size ice area, Curling Centre 5,400 sqft Fitness Centre, 2 Gyms, multipurpose room & Meeting Rooms. Leed Certified. The Port Moody Recreation Centre was originally built in 1970 and 1972, and is the largest single user of energy in the city. After implementing a Life Cycle Costing Analysis, the city decided to retrofit the existing building with new lighting and HVAC systems.The city’s retrofit saves it $28,000 annually in energy costs, provides residents with a healthier place to exercise, and showcases energy saving techniques to an entire community. The building boasts a 26% electrical energy reduction and an 18% gas reduction annually.
